Biography

My name is Kosma. I was born in 1987. I love opossums.

Got my license in 2025 - still learning, still struggling, please QRS.

Languages spoken: Polish and English, but you can try calling me in any Slavic language and we'll probably understand each other.

Full bio on QRZ.com because I'm too lazy to copy here.

Equipment

Base station: Yaesu FT-857D, pushing 10-100W on HF.
Tuner: ATU-100, kit-built, with remote WiFi access which greatly reduces feeder losses.
HF: 60/40/30/20/17/15/12/10/6m OCFD by DJ0IP (40.6% split). Common mode can bite, BYOB (bring your own balun).
VHF: Diamond SG-7900, sadly quite a bit directional because of buildings.
Mobile: Quansheng UV-K5 running Egzumer firmware. I love that little sweet piece of trash.
VNA: NanoVNA with NanoVNA-Saver, AntScope 2 and especially SimNEC. I love measurements!
