SM5MEK is celebrating 36 years as radio amateur and 66 year as human being in 2017
I Mostly operate cw and qrp, Sometimes my brain forget that so i will remind it about the situation. I will be active in WWFF and the new SMSS. Also portable outside any special programs. Going in to pension in July 2016, and having all the time for my self.(and the radio) 36 years as ham and 66 as human.

At beginning of 2016 the Swedish program Swedish Lakes (Svenska sjöar) SMSS started and i will participate as good as i can. You will find more info at their homepage,http://www.svenskasjoar.se/index.php also report if you has operated any of the lakes. The lakes has a four letter code like BZYJ (Lake Mälaren). Anyone can participate, you only have to register for free. A list with all the lakes is on the homepage/karta. For translation use some translator.
Been a ham since 1981. Like to operate qrp and also to build the small things like TunaTin and company.
From 01-01-2014 i am more active at CW-QRP. Working CQ magazine yearly challenge ending 31-12-2014. Also working NAQCC and NAQCC-EU challenges. Mostly operating from locator JO89ut and JO89tt.

Equipment
TTT, Mini tunatin, Blue cool Radio, Elecraft KX1, Icom IC-703+, Yaesu FT-817ND, Icom IC-706 in mobile, Icom IC-7200 for heavy field operations. Kenwood TS-2000 on base. For VHF i have IC-706 of course, Kenwood TM-D700E in mobile, Icom IC-E90, Kenwood TH-D7E. And for sat. i use the TS-2000.Also the new Mountain topper 4-B. (Like it..)
Antennas on qrp portable my HB vertical or endfeed windom, else linked dipole. On base at home 6 el logperiodic beam and vertical BHA250b, at club 3 el beams and windom.
I also using homebuildt vertical (HB-V2) vith gliding tuning ring and one end feeded windom.
