At our radioclub I have organized with support of "OKO" the Local Authism society a charity and noble action to operate under special callsign S50WAAD that involve many radio amateurs from our club and other clubs in region (hope to spread this event even more..) ... to help understand, note and warn , share solidarity, support, to spread awareness about autism ... and in our own way with our activity, knowledge , the technique in our way has helped to raise awareness of autism among other amateur radio players and their relatives and other people far beyond the borders via radio waves ... both at home and around the world ... with this special S50WAAD callsign.....

About special call :

"Charity action of Radioclub Nova Gorica S59DKS/ S53S with solidarity and support due World Autism Day

April 2 is World Autism Awareness Day and is designed to promote autism awareness and raise awareness of society about understanding people with autism and protecting their human rights.

At Nova Gorica Radio Club S59DKS / S53S, we join this international campaign in our own way.

How?
On April 2 and the whole month of April, as well as occasionally throughout the rest of the year, we will be active in various frequency bands and modes with the special callsign “S50WAAD” whose abbreviation in the suffix is WORLD AUTISM AWARNESS DAY. In this way, we will express support and awareness and encouragement among HAM operators all arround globe, as well to other people to spread broader awareness of autism and awareness of the society to understanding people with autism and protecting their human rights.
