Biography
Hi! My name is Sergey ("Serge"). I have been involved in amateur radio communication for more than 40 years (with some forced interruptions). The first radio communications were conducted at the school collective radio station.
I got my first license and call sign about 25 years ago (RA0CDF).
i love CW, so a significant number of connections were made by CW.
Over the past two years, I have been interested in conducting radio communications via amateur satellites (CAS-4, EO-88, XW-2...) To receive signals from satellites, it turned out to be very convenient to use an SDR receiver. For this purpose, i use an RTL SDR receiver and a homemade antenna converted from a TV satellite dish (BAND 2 m), and 5-element antennas of the 70 cm BAND of industrial manufacture.
I do not work very actively, but i am quite regularly present on the 40m, 20m, 28m bands. Usually in CW or FT8 modes. See you on the BANDs!
