Biography

I was born in 1956 in Taganrog. Before 1963 lived in DDR, Germany. In the air since 1970 as operator of clubstation UA2KBD-UK2FAD (Kaliningrad secondary school N 32.
Since 1972 has own callsign UA2FBD. First class licence since 1973. 1974-1980 I am student of Moscow institute of Physics and technology and operator of institutes clubstation UK3DAA-UK3AYR-UZ3AYR. After graduating institute lived in Moscow. Home callsign was UA3APN, then UZ3AA, RK3AA. I was active mostly in expeditions and as RK3AA/mm, on my sailing yacht.
Now I live almost entirely in Varna, Bulgaria and in Kaliningrad. I'm planning round the world sailing expedition, using /mm of course.. My yacht is ready...

Equipment

Almost everything on my side is home made: I have few japanese pieces of equiptment, of course, but prefer to use home brew ones. I like to construct electronics myself...
