Russian mechanic, the Creator of Aerodynamics and Aeromechanics as Sciences.
Honored Professor of Moscow University, Professor of theoretical mechanics of the Imperial Moscow higher technical school, corresponding member of the Imperial Academy of Sciences in the category of mathematical Sciences.
Professor Zhukovsky has acquired the popular title "Father of Russian Aviation".
