Biography

Since the late 70's I messed around with radio's, sometimes less legal as I should ;-), like on the 3 meter FM radioband. Later on, I moved around on CB, though illegal at the time. CB became legal in the 80's and I used that a lot. I made connections Europe-wide and ones I reached even as far as Boston USA! In september 2022 I passed the N(ovice)-exam and became a real HAM. So I bought an Icom-7300 for HF and a Yaesu FTM 300D for 2/70. As I used to be a telegrafist when I served the military, I'm picking up CW little by little and try to raise the speed. I'm really having fun being a HAM nowadays and hope to hear you anywhere on 'The Freak'!
