Biography
I got licensed in 1993 with the call PE1OUC. I was mainly active on 50MHz. In 2001 i obtained the call PA7FA and got active on HF.
(2015)
In the PACC contest we (PA3FYM and PA7FA) experimented with K9AY loops, and Beverage antenna's mainly active on 160 meters with the call PA7FA. Remco (PA3FYM) does the main operation, and i provide the hardware ;-) Also we participate in the CQWW, and CQ160 contests, always in CW.
We extend the antenna farm every year, improving the antenna's every year with experiences we get from past contests.
Now we run the PACC contest (2015) with a shunt-fed vertical for 160 (design PA3FYM), an vertical for 80, a delta loop for 40 (amazing design also from PA3FYM!) and 3 VDA's for 20, 15 and 10. More information you can find at http://www.remco.org, and youtube (search for "ocm3r")
During 2008 I developed a replacement LCD for the Icom IC-756 Classic. Those replacement display's are sold all over the world. Currently we stopped the production due to problems with obtaining the (ancient) parts.

[Update 31-12-2011]
The administration of PA-land allowes dutch amateurs finally to use the 70MHz band and the 500 kHz band starting 01-01-2012 0:00 (31-12-2011 23:00Z)
The IC-7000 was replaced with an IC-7100, My PW-1 PA does also a good job on 70 MHz. this summer i will try to get some spradic-E contact on 70 Mhz.
Equipment
My current working conditions are: Icom IC-7800 V2 + Icom PW-1. My secondary radio is an Icom IC-7100, which is used mainly for vacations, and mobile. Also i own an old IC-706 MK2, a Yaesu FT90R, a Kenwood TH-F7E, and 2 Baofeng BF-F8+'s
I use a 19 meter long WEST tower, and a secondary 10 meter long tower for a 70 MHz Yagi and VHF/UHF Yagi's.
Most antenna's are build every year especially for contests which i run with Remco PA3FYM from my location.
