Biography

Thank you for visiting my page.
Mij name is Ben and the qth is Breda.

About myself, I started around 1963 with Radio and Electronics at age 8 years with a wireless set No19,
the set was tunable 2-8 MHz transmitter-receiver (the A set), my versions had a VHF transmitter/receiver 230-240 MHZ (the B set), and an intercommunication amplifier for the tank or AFV crew's headsets (the C set). BC603 receiver frequency range 20-28 MHz & The Pye Ranger mobile and fixed station PTC8000 for FM. Standard frequency range: 25-174 MHz in 9 bands.Transmitter RF output: 10 & 25watts fm. The equipment was made up of three individual chassis (receiver, transmitter and PSU)

I built my first computer in 1976, the KIM1.it was a small 6502-based single-board computer developed and produced by MOS Technology. This prehistoric little computer had a hexadecimal keypad, and the results were shown on an LED display with 6 digits.

Licensed in 1982.

QSL:
1. I prefer QSL card exchange via PAØ Bureau, Regio 07 - I collect paper QSLs
2. QSL-cards received by postal mail will be answered by postal mail too.It is not necessary to add IRCs or money for return postage

SWL: QSL 100%, reports are wellcome.
I enjoy getting reports from SWL listeners.

If I have failed to reply to your QSL do email and I will correct the error of my ways!

QSL cards are still a physical reminder of a radio communication and a collectable item for the receiver.
