Activation of PA23WAAD on the air in order to ask attention for the World Autism Awareness Day (WAAD). In 2023 2th of April will be the day. We are active on all HF bands and 2m/70cm in phone and digi from 25th of March until 9th of April 2023. But especially on the weekend of 1st & 2th of April.

World Autism Awareness Day is an internationally recognized day annually on April 2nd, encouraging Member States of the United Nations to take measures to raise awareness about individuals within the Autism spectrum throughout the world. Through the world of ham radio we want to draw attention to the understanding, support and acceptance of people with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). We challenge other amateurs to come on the air with a special call sign around April 2 and to draw attention to this matter.

We will prepare a special QSL card for QSLs via buro or direct (both via NL10743). We'll upload the logs to LOTW and eQSL too.
