| Biography Hello friends, I do not wish to exchange paper qsl-cards at the moment.
Welcome here. My name is Lars Kristensen, I was born in 1966 and I work as a cemetery gardener. I am married to my beloved wife Dorte, who works as a bookkeeper. We have 1 adult son, Dennis, aged 22, who studies psychology at Aarhus University.
My interest started quite young at 27 mhz. In the mid 80's I got to work with a 27 mhz ssb operator, he introduced me to the 11 meter band ssb. It was pure magic for me that passed a few years.
in 1990 I got my amateur radio license. a few years later i passed the 60 mark cw test so i could get to hf. I have had a long hiatus of about 20 years. But then started up again in 2019. I have never worked with electronics either as a hobby or as a profession, so my knowledge is limited. However, I am trying to learn some antenna theory which I find very interesting. I drive mostly cw which I'm trying to get up to speed, now at speed 20-23.
Unfortunately, I am affected by restrictive antenna bans, so my antennas are limited to a dx commander rapid, which runs from 10 to 50 mhz. In addition, I have a hustler 6 btv which is set inside a 10 meter fiberglass flagpole. Around the hedge at a height of 1.75 meters I have a dipole for 80 40 20 metres. My radio is a yaesu ft dx 3000 acom 1010 and benches with 2 keys.
my other interests are fishing, cycling, accordion, but not least camping. We stay at a campsite on weekends from early spring to autumn. There I have a yaesu ft 450 d, and a 23 meter end-born antenna which hangs like a v at a height of 12 meters. Worked DXCCs: |
