About my QSL Card… I like wolfdogs, which are the result of a cross between a wolf and a shepherd dog (German shepherd e.g.). They are magnificent dogs, intelligent, robust and generally gentle, but they have retained certain aspects of the wolf, such as the pack spirit. There are many different types, such as the Czechoslovakian Wolfdog, the Saarloos, the American Wolfdog, the Northaid, the Old Inuit Wolfdog, Timber Shepherd, Nordic Timber etc. The picture is of Kodiak, a one year old Northaid (credit V. Romberg, www.wolfdogparadise.com ).
The other picture is a female gorilla with her baby in the Virunga National Park (credit V. Vandewalle/Virunga Foundation). I worked for some time in the D.R. of Congo and Rwanda. Endangered gorillas must be protected. The park is managed by the Congolese Institute for Nature Conservation and the British Virunga Foundation. Don't hesitate to make a donation to protect these magnificent animals (https://virunga.org/support-us/donate/).
