Welcome to my QRZ page,

I was born ( 1964 ) in the city of Temse, sins 1993 I live in the city of Sint Niklaas, it is situated
in the triangle Antwerp, Brussels, Ghent. My station is located in the center of Sint Niklaas.

I’m married to Lutgard and have a stepson Kris , and 3 years ago I got my first grandson Maurice

I started the hobby as a 14 year old boy with a couple of friends, First with a local chat on 27Mhz, this made me even more interested in radio communications. Because of that I also became a SWL ( Shortwave Listening ) listener, my listening number was ONL05733. As member off the UBA ( Royal Belgian Amateur Radio Union ).

In 1990 after a year of study and preparation, I obtained my A license, with the call sign ON1BBK. Soon after, I started practicing CW, because I wanted to work on the HF bands, I got my C license in 1992 with the new call sign ON5CT.

In 2010, I applied for an additional call sign, OP9T, which I have been using ever since on 6M ( 50Mhz ), and in digital modes such as RTTY , PSK , FT8, FT4 etc and also during contesting.
