Biography

55 YEARS ON AIR 1970 - 2025

Originally licensed in 1969 as radio officer in the merchant navy, and after that as radio amateur in 1970 with the callsign ON4UY, using the famous Heathkit HW-101 and HW-202 and some years later the little Kenwood TS-120S (100W pep).

Now retired I am getting to grips with the new modes data FT8 and occasionally returning to my first love of CW.
I have actually a Yaesu Ftdx-10 HF transceiver (i love it) and a Yaesu FTM-7250D VHF-UHF transceiver.
Station antennas: Shortened W3HH, Eantenna DELTA11 (14-54 Mhz) , Diamond X50.

Recently added: ACOM 1010 and mAT1500 PRO V2.1 automatic tuner (April 2023 - replace MFJ986)
