Biography

I am not Vašek z letiště, not even related to him. The choice of this callsign was purely co-incidental. Please, consider this fact before talking to me :D

I like open-source software. I used to be a developer of SuperTux, an open-source game. Now I play MineTest, which is another open-source game. I am one of the admins of a Minetest server called Tunnelers' Abyss. Other than that, I work full-time as a computer vision specialist.

As a radioamateur, I already burnt out once, as I failed to learn CW on a useable level. I see no point in transmitting information about my station over and over without the chance of percepting the response, mostly being able to percept only the callsign and 599. And collecting QSL tickets does not motivate me either, as I have better things to do than proving myself how good I am. Now I try it again, so let's hope that I won't burn out again.
