Biography
Hello DX friends,
I am SWL since 1981, and with much pleasure.
In my early years, my main interests were in broadcasting stations, especially
the tropical bands, with QSL collecting.
But alas enough in these days there are not much stations left, so since 2010
I like to monitor ham stations in CW mode, only ears no cw decoder. favorite bands 2/4/6/10 mtr.I do like very much CW QRP reception.
In these days I ike also to monitor the DAB band for reception conditions.
QSL collecting is still most important to me. I am member of the dutch VERON NL13562.
But most interesting I still find 10m amateur beacon reception, transatlantische.
stations, USA, Canada et.cetera. I heard so far in total about 250 10m beacons, more as 100 are from the USA. Alas enough the band is closed for transatlantic reception, SpE in the summer is left....10M is my favorite band.Since a few months I'm using a Belka DSP in the field,a very fine receiver! But now also using a handheld ICOM IC-R30, for in the field too...
On Facebook I have a QSL group with the name QSL CHASERS, with more as 3000 members.
