Before obtaining my license in 1982, I was fortunate enough to operate Navy Special Services station, KG6AKR, the "Voice of Apra Harbor", Agana, Guam with Elmer, KI7F while serving in the US Navy during the Vietnam era, 1973-74.
Primarily work HF bands for DX and "Rag Chew". Enjoy the challenge of breaking "pileups" with 100 watts and a dipole antenna.
