Biography

Been a ham since the 1970's Love digital modes and CW, and once in a while a nice SSB QSO. Sometimes I like to work a contest just to sharpen the skills, especially on VHF/UHF contests. Sometimes I like to work an occasional Meteor Scatter contact, especially during a Meteor Shower, again, just to sharpen the skills. I enjoy building my own antennas and using same to make a contact. Warms my heart ;)

Worked DXCCs:

Equipment

Yaesu FTdx-3000d bought at Dayton Hamvention in 2013.
My antennas are constantly changing and improving...when I find something that really works, I will hang on to it for a while, when I find something that stinks or is mediocre, it isn't long for this yard. As of this writing I am using a 3 element yagi on 6 meters, a 3 element on 2 meters, a endfed longwire for 160 through 10 meters.
