Biography

I have been a Ham since 1975, but have been inactive most of the time. I have usually worked ham radio in short spurts. I hope to stick with it longer this time around; I started this time in May 2021.

Worked DXCCs:

Equipment

RIG 1: Yaesu FTdx101MP

RIG 2: Icom 7610

I love both radios; I can't make up my mind which one I love more. There are so many features, and so much to learn about both.

AMP: Palstar LA-1K Love it! Quick and easy to use.

Tuner: Palstar HF Auto Love it! Very simple to use and very fast in tuning It usually takes about 3 to 4 seconds to tune from most bands to another. 160 and 80 meters take up to 10 or 12 seconds to tune.

Antenna: Approx 725 ft Sky Loop. Height 35 - 55 ft hung from trees. It works very well on all bands with over 200 countries worked in 2021 (most of them worked without the amp.)

DX Code Of Conduct

dx code of conduct small logoI support the "DX Code Of Conduct" to help to work with each other and not each against the others on the bands.
