| Biography Call me "Bert"...only my grandmother would call me Bertrand, and only when whe was
angry!
I've been a licensed radio amateur operator since January of 1956, beginning as
a Novice, WN1IHN, then moved on to W1IHN with license class upgrades. I held that
call until 1996 when I opted to have a "vanity" call, N4CW. I also operate a "club"
call during the summer when I'm in Maine; the call is K1IMI.
I prefer direct QSL's via postal mail and return postage with a self-addressed
envelope is greatly appreciated. I discourage sending me QSL's via QSL bureaus because it has become prohibitively expensive to reply to the many many cards I
receive.
