Biography
First licensed in 1955 at age 15 as KN9AED, later K9AED. In and out of amateur radio over the last 60 years. Other calls included N0AVT and KK0ZZ.
Professor at University of Kansas for 35 years, retiring in 2002. Have resided in Lawrence, Kansas since 1967. Other interests include photography, camera collecting, wood working, auto mobile restoration (1973 BMW 3.0CS, 1964 Austin Mini Cooper, others).
Currently enjoying a renewed interest in amateur radio, particularly DXing.
