Biography
My name is Robert although as usual I'm called Bob, I am 68yrs old, I live in North West Wales with my wife Dawn and children, we have lived in Wales since 1999.
First licenced in January 2001 with MW1RHD, in August of the same year I gained my class A licence by passing the morse code test at 5 wpm.
We are a Christian family.

Prior to getting my licence I was a Chirstian SWL and a member of World Association of Christian Radio Amateurs And Listeners (W.A.C.R.A.L) see http://www.wacral.org I joined with my wife in the late 1990's and continue with membership to date and serve as the Vice President. Our WACRAL membership numbers are, me MW0RHD 1464 and Dawn MW3CYQ 1465
My interests is Amateur Radio, but my main is Motorcycling I am currently riding a Rewaco Trike 1500cc. Motorcycling is more a way of life than an interest.
I am married to Dawn MW3CYQ,
we have four children, Michael, Stuart, Stephen MW3CYU and Robert Charles MW6RHD

I no longer work for a living as I became disabled in 1993 after a road traffic accident.

Inrico TM-7 Network Tranceiver.

We have a microHUB built by Peter G7RPG, (https://youtu.be/CTIgOlsq9jI) running allstar which is coupled to a Motorola GM340 as a 2m link/simplex internet gateway, so if you are in the area try the link out. Just listen for MB7ILP ( morse code ) on 144.962.5 a ctcss of 110.9, just give a call out on HUBNET. As always listen first, always remember on HUBnet to keep your over to 3 minutes max and leave a 4 (four) second gap in between overs. Thanks.
Portable we use a Icom ic-7000 go box. A Kenwood TH-G7, dual band hand held for 2/70 but mainly used for APRS when coupled to my Garmin handheld GPS receiver as MW0RHD-7 when in the caravan.
