Biography

My house is located 5m asl and approx 12m from the shore so my antennas are situated very close to salt water and who wouldn't want that!
I use Ham Radio Deluxe to log all my contacts although this is no longer a legal requirement in the UK and I try to upload to LoTW at least once a month (or at least when I can!!).

The pictures below are;
A) My radio station
B) The rolling hills of Somerset on my recent holiday.
C) My home location as close to the sea as you can be without getting your feet wet!
D) On a visit to Yorkshire and, on a visit to the town of Thirsk in North Yorkshire in the garden of what used to be his home, the statue of Alf Wight (James Herriot) the author of the vetinary books All Creatures Great and Small!

During the month of April 2022 I will be active, HF SSB & digital modes, with the call-sign GS8VL so if you hear me stop by and say hello!
You will receive an eQSL from my home call and this is due to me using my normal logging which automatically sends out an eQSL for each contact I log however this will be replaced by a paper qsl card once you follow the OQRS procedures stated on the link.

Worked DXCCs:

I upload to ClubLog automatically, Eqsl automatically and LoTW as and when!

DX Code Of Conduct

dx code of conduct small logoI support the "DX Code Of Conduct" to help to work with each other and not each against the others on the bands.
