Biography

I have been licenced since 1998 and have held the calls 2M1HRE, MM5ALB and MM0CXA. I first became interested in radio as a young boy but really got the bug when I was in the military and trained as a radio operator.
In later years I used CB as a truck driver before gaining my Amateur Radio licence and the rest speaks for itself.
I am a member of the RSGB, the G-QRP Club and I am also the Lead Instructor with the Dundee Amateur Radio Club. I have also served as Regional Manager for the RSGB in Scotland Region 2.
My main interest is low power operating and "playing" around with wire antennas.
