Biography

Hi I'm Mike and welcome to my corner of Amateur Radio.

I live on the south coast of England in a lovely town by the sea called Peacehaven. The Meridian line from Greenwich runs through the middle of the town.

I qualified for my radio license in October 2005.

My radios are a Kenwood TS-50 which I use with an LDG AT200Pro Autotuner and a BHI NEIM1031 Noise Eliminating In-Line Module.

A Kenwood TS-780 Trio.

My QTH antennas are a half size G5RV and for VHF/UHF I use a co-linear for 2m, 70cms and 6m, and a two element HB9CV beam for 2m SSB.

When I go portable I use an inverted V dipole for 20m and my Kenwood TS-50.

I also have a Yaesu FT60 Handheld which I often use for SOTA activations with my SOTA Beam.

I work both SSB and CW on HF and 2m.
CW FISTS Number 16245

It would be great to have a sked.

eQSL Only

I look forward to working you really soon.

73's and good DX

Mike
