Biography
Hi
I have been using radio both as a hobby and as a professional since I was 12 years old. It started with sitting in my dads car for hour upon hour just listening to the CB, then I got brave and actually picked up the mike and spoke to someone hihi. Its all gone downhill since then! After CB came 12 years with the Royal Signals where I trained as a radio telegraphist and spent most of my career playing radio! Then the Foundation license came about. So thanks to NADARS (Newbury) I have now got my first foot on the ladder, all I need to do is learn the electronic side of the hobby now and then I can move on up.
I mainly use Digital modes, as I find it ideal for us low power users and try to monitor the bands whilst mobile all over the UK. So if you see me on your screen, give me a shout and I may just pick that mike up once again. vy 73
