Equipment

Equipment: depending on location I operate portable using an FT-817 or FT-857. Power for the rigs, where required, is via 4 cell, 4.2AH LifePo4 batteries for 13.8V rigs or 3 cell, 2100maH LifePo4 batteries for the FT-817. I also operate from park locations or static mobile using the excellent SunSDR2 Pro via an RM Italy HLA-300V amplifier in the PeliTRX. Currently learning CW, I use a Palm Pico Paddle, Palm Portable Key, Begali Traveler paddles and Kent KT1 straight key.
