Biography

Been operating for many years as M3NGC, 2E0MGP and M0MGP. As a member of Colchester Radio Amateurs I also work the callsigns M1COL/MX1COL/G3CO/GX3CO/M5C. I also manage GB6NT Naze Tower special event station and GB6WLB for Walton on the Naze Lifeboat every year as club events.

I have been surprised how much I have taken to FT8 over the recent year partly because for a long time I was in a 1st floor flat with very limited access to antennas. Having recently moved to a bungalow I am now able to put up a DX Commander and Inverted L giving me the opportunity to work DX and local RSGB contests.

In my equipment list below you will noticee much equipment for portable work which I use with the members of my family M0LTG (son) and 2E0SXH ( daughter in law) along with many members of the club who are invited along to operate at the special events and major contests through the year when we operate mobile.
