Biography

Thanks for working with me and meeting on air. I am an amateur since 1983, I worked at the club stations LZ1KBG and LZ1KBM in my hometown of BOTEVGRAD.

I got licensed as LZ3TV in 1992. I took my general class in 1984. I took my supplementary class in 1988.

I am interested in Low Band Dxing! This is my passion.

During the week I live and work in the city of PLOVDIV. Here I have only ICOM-781 Transceiver End Fed Half Wave Antenna 80-10m. Audiophile vacuum tube microphone preamplifier ULTRAGAIN PRO MIC2200, large diaphragm dynamic cardioid microphone HEIL PR-781, professional for Hi Fi work with unsurpassed audio quality.

I have a Country House near Sofia 65km NE- village Vrachesh where I work on weekends when I visit for vacation.

In my ranch, the main radio is an ICOM-781, an ULTRAGAIN PRO MIC2200 audiophile vacuum tube microphone preamp, a B-1 Behringer gold-plated professional large-diaphragm condenser microphone for unsurpassed audio quality, and an ALPIN-200 HF amplifier. The antennas I use are MIRTA Collinear type: 1-0 / 5.7dBd (1.5 wavelength) For 80m/75m (directed W-NW-N-NE-SE-S) each 120m long and MIRTA Collinear for 40m (directed W-NW-E) each 60m long. All MIRTA ANTENNAS are a slanted system from my -130ft tower built and installed by me and my best friend Mircho LZ5RX "MAY GOD Forgive Him and Bless His Memory..! REST IN PEACE MY FRIEND..!"
