Biography

Something about me...

My name is Pablo Ferrero, Systems Analyst, Teacher and a fan of many things. laugh

From a very young age I was interested in the world of radio and even more so when they gave me a pair of walkie-talkies for a birthday with which I discovered a fascinating world, also my mother had a cousin who was a radio amateur (at that time I did not know very well what was that but I loved everything he had in his radio room)

Several years passed and my interest in computing brought me closer to wireless communications with which I was able to experiment with making antennas and repairing equipment.

The turns of life and my curiosity about meteorology led me to discover the existence of satellites that could be tuned with a VHF radio (NOAA), it was there that I acquired my first portable radio, an old Yaesu FT50r. In 2014, fascinated with what I could achieve with this small device, I enrolled in the radio amateur course at the Radioclub Pampeano in which I learned a lot and met many people, but for work reasons I could not take the exam and I gave up everything.

It took 7 years until I was able to take the course again, I was finally able to take it and I got my license.
