Biography

My QTH is near San Jose, California, about an hour south of San Francisco. I spend most of my time hunting DX, POTA and SOTA from my shack, or out activating POTA and SOTA. I recently learned CW and am trying to increase my speed.

I was a shortwave listenter and loved playing with HTs as a kid and later got a degree in Electrical Engineering, but I wasn't introduced to amateur radio until the fall of 2022 on a hunting trip. I've been hooked ever since. I got my Tech and General in late 2022 and my Extra in April 2023. My previous callsign was KN6WKM - I got my current vanity call in March 2024.
