Biography

I am retired US Air Force Security Forces. Got my ham ticket the end of January 2021 after the bombing in Nashville at the ATT building and knocked out cell service. Got my general in March and my extra in June.

My ham radio interest is Aux Communications. I am memeber of ARES. I also am net control for a local lunch time net that is geared to get new hams on the air. I am also interested in POTA. Parks On The Air and currently a hunter, hope to soon get out and activate a park.

Worked DXCCs:

Equipment

My base is a Yaesu 991A, a Yaesu 897D protable. I also have an Anyton 578 that I use mostly for a scanner. I also have several HT's.

For antennas I have a Diamond V2000 tri-band (2m, 70cm, 6m), for HF I have a center fed dipole and have an endfed long wire and Wolf River Coil for portable use.
