Biography

De KM4IY, thank you for looking at my page. My mailing address is LIBERTY, KY but my ACTUAL community of residence is LABASCUS, KY. It is a community in the midst of a farming area, at which you will find a couple of small businesses and a gas station. It lost its post office several years before we moved to our farm.

Casey County, I understand is rare DX for county hunters. In the past, i've tried to provide contacts when asked. I don't mind that at all, provided i'm given ample time to prepare my schedule. You may email me using KM4IY@ARRL.NET and i'll try to accommodate if i have equipment/antennas to do so.

QSL is by eQSL.cc (AG) and LOTW. I don't enjoy or make a practice of paper QSLs, but I can/will if you must. I don't require an SASE or any postage. A one for one swap is good enough.

I am a retired High school Band Director and Music teacher. I am a brass player. I have interests in the folk instruments, i enjoy playing hammered dulcimer and mountain dulcimer. i am teaching myself guitar and intend to learn celtic harp and dobro.

Hobbies include Amateur radio, computer tech, taking care of the farm, wildlife management, and of course, music of all types, playing and listening.

thank you very much for taking time to read all of this, i expect by now, you're ready for a nap :-) since it really isn't all that exciting...
