Biography

I have General License and am studying for the Extra. When I took my exam, I was the only woman being tested... I hope more women become Ham Operators in coming years.

My grandfather and father were Ham Operators and I watched them and listened to them with fascination as a girl. Becoming a Ham Operator has always been on my bucket list and I am so happy to finally have my license. I have my Shack built now and will be ready to do some DXing soon. My cards are printed and ready to mail. I want to teach this wonderful mode of communication to my grandsons when they are ready.
