Biography

I am a General Ham operator. I am also, Crawford County ARES member. I am a member of several radio clubs.i also talk with people all over by Echolink as well. I am also a Mason and Shriner. I live 28 miles Southwest of Macon,Ga. So, I live in the country below middle, Ga. I'm currently studying for my extra class test. Thank ya'll for inviting me .

Equipment

I have two Yaesu Ft8900 radios. One I use at the house for 2 meters. If you want to talk with me. Our Ares nets are on Monday nights at 800pm (EST) and Tuesday nights at 730 pm and 830 pm. There is a Echolink repeater for all three nets at 146.850. On my FT8900 mobile I'm on 2 meters mostly. I've been on 10 meters during the day as well. But most hams around here stay on 2 meters. I'm also on 6 meters at night. I have been a ham since 2008. I use both 8900s because I didn't want to learn how to program two different radios. I enjoy talking and meeting different hams everywhere. My home repeater is 145.290 if anyone is close by to call me.
I have now a Kenwood D-74 with a raspberry pi for DSTAR. And a Anytone 878 with a Bridgecom Skybridge for DMR. I’m very active on both modes.

DX Code Of Conduct

dx code of conduct small logoI support the "DX Code Of Conduct" to help to work with each other and not each against the others on the bands.
