Biography

First licensed in 1967. First as WB2LJA then KF4DS then KE2AA (SINCE 1985).

21 years commissioned service in the US Army and 22 years in the ultra hazardous waste disposal and petrochemical industries until retiring in 2019.

Test equipment: Lots of it as you can see in the picture.

HF radios: Icom 7610, Xiegu X6100, QRPLabs QMX+, SEA222, PATCOMM PC500, homebuilt 100 W amplifier and tuner, and Transworld TW-500A amplifier in the fixed station and FT891/ATAS120A in the RV.

HF antennas: 43 ft vertical with remote tuner and remote 80m loading coil; Mosely 33-A mini beam at 26 ft.
