Biography

Welcome to the page of...

K E Ø S X B

-•- • ----- ••• -••- -•••

I passed the Technician exam on Saturday 25th August 2018, in South Hutchinson, KS; the very same day as my beautiful XYL, Crystal KEØSXC.

I'm originally from Great Britain and licensed there as M6PNC. Please see my other page for details of my British radio activities.

Both Crystal and I are members of WACRAL - The World Association of Christian Radio Amateurs and Listeners (Member Nº:
1686).

WACRAL host an annual event called CHOTA (Churches & Chapels On the Air); every September. I have been fortunate to take part in these Special Events in 2016 and 2017; with my dear friend Steve Nicholls (GØJFM). I am hopeful that Crystal and I shall operate one in September 2019!

Along with radios - railways are a big hobby of mine. I have loved trains since I was a child. My late Grandfather was the chief engineer on the Ffestiniog Railway in North Wales, UK; where I learned so much about railways - especially 2' narrow gauge steam locomotives!

Crystal and I enjoy photography immensely! Crystal started her own videography and video editing business (10/90 Productions), around 10 years ago, but didn't really take it off - so, we're working as a team to get it going again! We are going to explore all kinds of multimedia editing including photo restoration, 8mm film digitisation, film photography and expanding our photography in general.

We are both very keen on completing the SKYWARN® training - seeing as we live in "Tornado Alley"!!

We enjoy learning about the weather systems and seeing the storms develop and understanding their effects.

As 'responsible' amateur radio operators - we really want to be able to be on hand to help out, in the unfortunate event of an emergency.

This is just a short introduction for now and I shall add some photos soon!

I hope to work you on the bands soon!
