Biography

First licensed in 1958 as KN0KDF, in Iowa, then K0KDF, then WB8TMT in Michigan, and finally KC8NN. During my years in the Air Force as an electronic technician , I held the calls G5BBT(England), and SV0AD (Greece). My home now is Marquette, Michigan, I retired from the Air Force in 1980 to Marquette where I retired in 2006 from the local TV station as Asst Chief Engineer..

I tend to gravitate to the digital modes- CW, PSK31, and JT65hf.ad mostly prefer 30 meters, but also operate 40, and 20

The station is a Yaesu FT450, Hustler 5btv vertical and a 30 meter mag loop. Sometimes a QRP portable CW rig using the Small Wonder Labs SW30.
