Biography
I became an amateur radio operator in May 2006. I enjoy my kids, flying, golf, tennis, camping, fishing, backpacking and hunting. I am also a Lt Col in the Civil Air Patrol, serving as a mission pilot, as well as the squadron's legal officer. I am active with local HAM club activities, and volunteer emergency services.
I usually monitor the 147.240, 145.470 repeaters in Olathe, KS, the 442.200 IRLP node 3534 repeater in Olathe, KS, the 145.290 and 146.820 repeaters in Overland Park, KS, and the 147.030 repeater in Lawrence, KS.
Since getting my General Class license, I work HF mobile (mostly 15m and 20m) and all bands at home. I recently began doing CW and PSK31. I also enjoy using EchoLink and occassionally IRLP modes.
I enjoy making contacts across the U.S. and around the world, meeting many wonderful individuals, and look forward to getting acquainted with many more. HAM radio is a great community, isn't it?
