Biography

I have been a Ham since November 24, 1992. That was a great birthday gift a day early to get my ticket. I have slowly worked my way up to my current Extra Class license. I passed that exam on 29 April 2014. I got 47 out of 50 correct.

I enjoy working DX on my 10m mobile. I am still looking for another TS-2000 (my dream radio) to get back on all the HF bands.

I got interested in Ham radio by listening to my boss at the time and my friend, KB5FPW, talk about talking to missionaries in South America on two meters in the mornings. That peeked my interest and away I went.

Hope to see you on the bands!!!
