| Biography I was trained by the Navy as an electronics technician, and quickly qualified as a flight crewmember (as Radioman, Navigator, Radar Intercept Operator), on a number of types of military aircraft. Earned an undergraduate (BS) degree in Chemistry and Microbiology, and a PhD degree in Polymer and Physical Chemistry, and Biophysics. Devoted many years of my military career to the study of the bioeffects of radiofrequency (RF) and microwave radiation. Published widely. Earned Masters Degree in Public Health (MPH). Following my research career in the Navy, I also served as a Commissioned Officer in the U.S. Public Health Service. Again, deeply involved in the study of the bioeffects for RF and microwave radiation, and with the toxicity of implanted biomaterials, and especially with implanted medical devices. Equipment Currently involved in Ham Radio Contesting as a member of the Potomac Valley Radio Club (PVRC) team at the beautiful contesting station of Alan & Susan Hoffmaster (WA3EKL/ N3DPB), located in Sevrin, MD. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
