Hello to all
If you are looking me up we may have worked one another on the bands.
I was born in CT land but i lived in Z2 land from 1969 to 1984 when i maid my move here to W2 land.
Like most of us i did COMs when in the service for the Hon. Dr Ian Smith at that time the leader of the Rhodesian goverment.
Plaid a little CB here when i first arrived here as i did allot of traveling for my work.
About 17 or 18 years ago got my first ticket and i have been having a blast talking to good hams all around the globe.
So everyone lets put up good antennas and lets meet and talk up a storm .
I chase a little DX but i like to rag chew quite a bit.

Equipment

My currant station consists of an Yaesu FTdx-5000 driving a command technology HF2500 amplifier.
Antennas are an EF420 on a 30 foot boom from force 12 @about 25 meters and an EF510 on an 18 foot boom @about 27 meters from the ground on a telescopic tower.
A double bazooka for 75/80@ 25 meters also an offcenter fed diapole for 10through 80 @about 60 feet.For 40 I put a Cushcraft XM240 modified to a MOXON
My audio equipment is as follows 1) mic ELECTRO VOICE RE27 into a Mic Pre-Amp by ART onto an 8 Band EQ and EQPLUS by W2IHY.
