Biography
I have been a ham since 1980 operating from Moreno Valley, Ca. Here, I met my mentor, WA6VWW, Don Hynds. Don loaned me a Kenwood TS 520 transceiver, longwire antenna and introduced me to CW. Don's mentorship allowed me to pursue a career as an engineering tech.
Involvement with amateur radio developed my skills in engineering labs. I spent 30+ years in the test and measurement field of interconnecting devices (connectors, contacts, and cables) measuring product to the aerospace and military design specifications and standards.
Retired in Kingman, AZ.
