Born in 1944 in Indianapolis, IN. Novice License in 1958 - KN9LZJ
AAS & BS Degrees from Purdue University
Board Certified in Clinical Engineering 1973
Current hold Extra Class Amateur and First Class Radio Telephone License.
Retired from different positions in health care including Hospital Chief Engineer, Hospital Administrator, Clinical Engineering, Board of Director for small rural hospitals. Past Board of Directors for Ivh Tech State College - Central Division 22,000 student. Many awards for activities in amateur radio and health care.

Trustee of Innovations in DX and Contesting, LLC - W9VW - Remote Station: 3 ea - K3's, TS2000, 3 el tribander at 83 ft, 2 el tribander at 42 ft, 5 el WARC beam at 60 ft, 4 el 40 meter beam at 155f5, 4 square 40 meter antenna, 80 meter vertical, 165 ft tower, 30 meter dipole at 110 ft., Triband beam at 165 ft. 11 element 6 meter beam at 90 ft. 160 L antenna, ESB 1.5KFA 1000 watt amplifier, ESB 2KFA amplifier, 2 meter 1000 watt amplifier. Moon Bounce station for 2 meters. Remote station built and used by K9LZJ, K9SG, K9XV, W9EY, WB9YCZ, W9HBH. Remote rigs allow all the above operators to use the above station from any place in the world. K9SG operates from AZ, and K9LZJ operates from Perth, AU using his new call VK6AW.
