Licenced first in 1958 as KN6UIP, with my father WA6DOF, we put together a very modest station. Following high school i joined the US Army and during my overseas tours i was able to put together the US Army MARS station AB8AS in Pleiku, Vietnam. Returning to the USA and Living in San Diego County restarted my HAM radio activities and continue today to enjoy the hobby.
As of September 2017 I retired from the Military Electronics Industry and am starting to be an explorer of all that I have missed..

Received Bachelor and Master of Business Administration degrees from Pepperdine University in Malibu, California. In addition, received a bachelor degree in electrical engineering from Long Beach State University Long Beach, California.
Serving in the U.S. Army, I have received several service commendations most notably the purple heart, combat infantry badge, the army commendation medal and theater service medals.
I have been included in several international biographical societies including Who’s Who and 2,000 notable Americans.
