Biography

First licensed as WN4VBF in the 1970's. Introduced to the hobby by Richard D Gardner jr, WB4FSX SK. Inactive for a time then relicensed as KG4IID, Tech, then K4BIG in 2000. Upgraded to General in 2000. Active on VHF until 2014, then made the move to HF. Upgraded to Amateur Extra on 5/30/2015. Active on 40, 20, 17, 15, 10. Mostly phone but learning digital modes. Interests outside radio include science, reading, soccer, golf, outdoor activities and making things. Still active as a business owner/ consultant.
