Biography
Hello all,
Thank you for visiting my page.
I was originally licensed in 2006. Then decided I wanted to give HF a try so I upgraded to General in 2008. I decided I did not have enough to do so I upgraded to Extra in 2013. So as it would turn out I'm a good test taker. Still learning about this wonderful hobby.
I'm not much of a talker, imagine that but what I really like to do is chase DX. For the time being I'm still QRP and from the central east coast of the USA I have managed to make several contacts as far away as Moscow. Another reason for my short QSO I would suppose is when you're only running 10 watts a long QSO might get lost in the static if it goes to long, so exchanging the basics seems to work. After typing that I sound like a contester but I have never tried that.
My profile pic is of me 8300 feet above sea level in Yosemite National park with my K2 operating at 4 watts. I made a couple of contacts but conditions were not the best.
So far I really like QRZCQ and I hope you do too. I hope to meet you on the air.
