| Biography Licensed 2015, ARRL CW Certified at 10 WPM and working toward 20 WPM. Also enjoy phone and digital modes on HF, Local analog repeater rag chewing, and D-Star on VHF/UHF. Completed Mixed WAS and working on DXCC. Also looking to make my first satellite mode contact. email me if you're interested k1ecu@arrl.net Worked DXCCs: Equipment on the HF side, it's a Yaesu FT-450D into G5RV with Dentron MT-3000A tuner. For VHF I have a pair of Icom IC-2200H 2m radios, one of which is connected to my homemade copper J-pole and scans the local analog repeaters. The other is tuned full time to my D-Star hotspot which consists of a Raspberry Pi and DV-Mega normally linked to reflector 069C. My portable is a Yaesu VX-6R tri-bander which I occasionally bring on the sailboat with me for some maritime mobile work. Hoping to get an HF setup on the boat someday. The mobile rig in the vehicle is an Icom ID-880H dual-band 2m/440 with D-Star and a mag-mount which I want to replace with a through-mount antenna soon. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
