Biography

Since I opened HAM radio station in 1972 I was very active on the air with PHONE, but after that I had to close my station in 1980 due to my work. Becoming an age to receive a pension, I opened again my HAM radio station in 2016, and this time I am enjoying mostly with CW on 40m. It, however, is still very difficult to operate CW QSO. If you hear my signal please call me with QRS.

I am living in NARA city. Nara was a old capital since 710 for 84 years. Nara is a scenic town with many temples and shrines. Therefore, I often move to the countryside of NARA prefecture by my car for the mobile operation. Furthermore, I have recently started the mobile operation fiitting the whip antenna to the bicycle. While many stations call me, I am struggling to hear even their call signs. However, I think that this actual operation will be good for practicing CW. I will enjoy this mobile operation aiming for better CW operation.

I am interested in mobile operation to POTA and JAFF. When mobile operation, I often go to the parks registered by POTA in particular.
There are currently over 1,000 POTA registered parks in Japan, but I hope to see more POTA registered parks.

I've been crazy about CW operation since I got a 3rd class ham radio license in 2016.
There, however,  are some restriction on the qualification of a 3rd class license. In addition, many of the Japanese stations that made CW QSO with me had a 2nd class or higher license.
Therefore, after studying hard, I finally got a 2nd class license in 2020, and a 1st class license in 2021.
Now I could start to QRV on the 20m and 30m bands for mobile operation.

I have often made mistakes to catch the call signs.
If you do not receive my QSL card please email me without any hesitation.
