During 1970's and 80's, he was very active on 28MHz via long-path over south pole to European countries. In Aug. of 1985, he contacted Dr. Tony England on STS-54F with color SSTV(Robot 1200c) and voice on 145MHz assisted by JG1QPT, Mr. Hiroshi Juzoji.
By the way, he has a professional licence for satellite communications up to 500W, got VSAT's licenses for ETS-5 communications satellite; JS2HB to JS2HG from 1989 to 1995 linking with Asia Pacific hospitals. JH1KRC, Dr. Michiaki Watanabe(Mike) fully supported this operations and Mike also operated VSAT from his University in Tokyo.
As a research, he is now creating an ultra-lightweight transmitter that transmits electromyograms(EMG) from flying moths by 2ch.s' VCXOs on 27MHz(output 1mW, weight 0.29g, over 100m distance comm. based on ITU-R SM.2153-6( Short-range Radiocommunication Device), and a FV receiver using DSP.He is a specially appointed professor of Seisa University at Yokohama City and a visiting professor of Nakajima Laboratory at the Dept. of Emergency Medicine and Critical Care, Tokai University School of Medicine.
He got the Doctor of Applied Informatics(Ph.D.), Graduate School of Applied Informatics University of Hyogo 2009, and the Doctor of Medicine (Ph.D.), Post Graduate School of Medical Science Tokai University 1988, and the Medical Doctor (M.D.) from Tokai University School of Medicine 1980. He has been aiming to send huge multimedia data from moving ambulance via communications satellite to assist patient’s critical condition.
